Leila is joined by Sakari Oramo and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra in a performance of the Violin Concerto No. 1 in A minor, Op. 99, recorded live in January 2006. She also collaborates with pianist John Novacek in the studio to record the Sonata for Violin and Piano, Op. 134. This release coincided with the 100 year anniversary of Shostakovich's birth, and is released on the Warner Classics label.
